There are numerous phobias.
Some are realistic, while others are completely ridiculous.
Acrophobia: fear of heights.
Chronomentrophobia: fear of clocks.
Dentophobia: fear of dentists.
Melanophobia: fear of the color black.
Scolionophobia: fear of school.
Neophobia: fear of anything new.
I can’t say that any of these above things scare me, but I do have my own set of fears, that’s for sure, sunshine.
Fear of dying alone.
Fear of never having or being “enough.”
Fear of failure.
Fear of falling in love.
I am not sure if these make an official phobia list, but I do know that “perfect love casts out fear” (1 John 4:18) and any time that I allow fear to reign, I’m returning to the 5-year old vulnerable little girl that’s hidden inside and am not trusting in God’s love or plans for me.
My fears make me wonder what the enemy is keeping me from experiencing by holding me back…
In preparation for a new Bible study that I’ve been praying about offering, I am curious to know what are you afraid of, sunshine.
If you could take a minute and reply to this message and let me know what you are afraid of and any other details about this fear that would help direct the focus on the study, I would be so grateful.
