I am certain you’ve gone through one recently, are currently enduring one, or will soon be facing one.

No matter the size of the trial, you are undergoing this adversity as an opportunity to build our character and draw nearer to God than ever before.

This really hit home a few months when I thought I had hit rock-bottom.
(Turns out, that moment was not the lowest point of life, but it was a major turning point in my faith journey to date.)

A dear friend challenged me and asked,

“If you could have a choice for God to take all of this away right now and
give you everything you want OR complete the work in you so that
He can use you more, which would you choose?”

Burn.
Convicted.

That was a pivot point for me.

My mind was awakened.
I had the opportunity to learn and grow.
I could restore my trust in God’s mighty plans.
I made a choice to hope again.

During dry and weary times, I encourage you to think about how you are quenching your thirst. Memorize this scripture as a go-to when those times come your way.

Seek Him.
Receive His love.
Allow Him to do a great and mighty work in you.

With a desert oasis of love,

P.S. Because of my travels, there will not be a Thursday post this week. You can check Shine with Frannie on all social media platforms to stay connected and inspired.
ABC Scripture memorization [O] “O God, You are my God. I will look for You with all my heart and strength.
My soul is thirsty for You. My flesh is weak wanting You in a
dry and tired land where there is no water.”
Ps. 63:1
