Deepak Chopra teaches: “All great things are preceded by chaos.”

While a renowned thought leader and self-help guru, I hate to break it to you, but Chopra was in essence copying from the Bible. (For the record, much of his work has biblical undertones and traces back to God’s Word.)

But we know…God is the original creator of all great changes and transformations–that’s how He created the world–and you and me, too, sunshine.

Quite frequently, these changes are birthed out of a “soup of nothingness, a bottomless emptiness, an inky blackness…” kind of season of life.

Perhaps you are in one of those places right now, sunshine. (I’m just emerging from one and would love to pray for you, if so.)

When all seems to be falling apart, I just want to remind you: God is creating beautiful and wonderful things in you–“things you see and things you don’t see”–for He is far more concerned about your character than your circumstances.

Are you willing to endure the chaos to experience your next level, sunshine?

“First this: God created the Heavens and Earth—all you see, all you don’t see.
Earth was a soup of nothingness, a bottomless emptiness, an inky blackness.
God’s Spirit brooded like a bird above the watery abyss.”
