You may or may not have seen a FB LIVE video that I did last weekend; it was called, “Not What I Expected.” (Log in and check it out from last Saturday.)

Whether you saw it or not, here’s the gist.

I had an idea in mind of what I wanted the Goal Getting group coaching program to “look” like. I deemed it as a complete failure because the “group” never formed and the program wasn’t a success according to my vision of it.

However, in typical God-fashion, He spoke to me in profound and powerful ways–like whacked-across-the-cheek-with-a-2×4-kind-of-ways.

Here are a few things that happened that I never expected:

  • 1:1 work with clients–instead of signing up for the group, many wanted 1:1 sessions. They’re receiving individual attention and are already winning at their goals! (Within two weeks, one is done 3.5 lbs.)
  • FB Live workouts for ALL Shine with Frannie followers. In an effort to help one of the ladies, many others have participated in the free strength workouts –her suggestion!–from the comfort of their own home! Whooohoo! (Tune in to Shine with Frannie’s FB page on M/Th at 6:30a.m. EST, sunshine!)
  • One lady was inspired from the free-training-series and has worked out 10 out of 15 days–it’s her longest fitness commitment since the new year!
  • And what I deem to be the best praise report is one of my clients who I’ve been working with since spring (and is down 40+lbs. from all of her hard work) watched the series and claims, “I get it now!”–her words not mine. She messaged me: “I now see why you have been encouraging me to spend time praying and in the Bible–do you have a women’s group that I can be a part of to pray?” Alleluia! Praise God!

So the whole point of this message is this–it’s imperative to keep focused on your goal, but be willing to make adjustments in order to arrive.

I realize now the Goal Getter series was indeed a success. It fulfilled Shine’s mission to help others get healthier, stronger, and more empowered as they commit their health into His hands. (Matt 6:33, 1 Tim 4:8, 1 Corin 6:19-20)

Perhaps you need to change the way you see the outcome of the goal you’re working on, sunshine?

What have you learned along the way?
Who has been positively impacted by your pursuit of this goal?
How has God been given glory by you going-after-your-goal?

Goal get it, sunshine, and to Him be all of the glory.

P.S. By now i am sure you’ve read about the upcoming Be My Vision retreat here in Florida November 2-3. If you’ve registered, get ready to have a clear action plan so you can finish 2018 stronger and start 2019 more empowered.
