“Then the angel spoke to the women. “Don’t be afraid!” he said.
“I know you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He isn’t here!
He is risen from the dead, just as he said would happen.
Come, see where his body was lying.
And now, go quickly and tell his disciples that he has risen from the dead,
and he is going ahead of you to Galilee. You will see him there.
Remember what I have told you.”
Matt 28:5-7

After His long, brutal death, it was nothing short of a miracle that Jesus was not in the tomb when the women arrived on the scene.

He died then rose for us, just as he said!
Profound and prophetic.

God always does what He says He will do.
He is faithful.
He gives life to dead things.
He illuminates dark places.

If you’re not presently “seeing” Him, look to His Word for His promises; The Bible includes nearly 6,000, so I am certain there is one for your present situation, sunshine!

Do not live as if He’s dead.
Do not continue looking inside the tomb. (metaphorically speaking, of course)

Believe in His promises and embrace the power of The Resurrection.

Happy Easter to you and yours, dear sunshine.
