In a culture that strives for perfection as a means of acceptance and a measure of success, I humbly admit that I am completely imperfect. In fact, many days I feel iil-equipped, inadequate and unqualified, yet I am constantly supported that I am speaking to at least “one”–this keeps me shining.
While my vulnerability may be deemed as unacceptable and unsuccessful by worldly standards, I embrace and celebrate all of my imperfections. This reminds me that while I am far-from-perfect, I am in the midst of being perfected.
And so are you, sunshine.
If you are struggling with perfection or this spoke to you in some way, perhaps you are “the one” I can support, encourage, and pray for today.
Share with me how I can help.
With perfectly imperfect love,
