How would you feel if you ate a huge buffet on a Sunday morning then didn’t eat until the following Sunday, sunshine?
Hungry? Exhausted? Mentally aloof? Drained?  Hangry?
That is the equivalent of what many believers do, and consequently how many believers feel, too.
We attend church on Sunday mornings and attempt to live off the spiritual food we’ve feasted upon during our church power hour–the worship, the fellowship, the message–for an entire week.
And then we repeat this cycle week after week.  It’s an extremely unhealthy practice.  Well actually, to be frank, it’s deadly. Truly.
To resist the enemy and all of his schemes, we must be “full” of God’s Word and able to rebuke his lies with The Truth.
So let me ask you, sunshine, are you well-nourished and ready for the battles that are sure to strike when you are at your lowest, weakest, most “hungry” moments?
Heed’s Paul’s suggestion and “exercise” your faith.
Seriously. Stop whatever you’re doing right now and pray.
Think of a verse you know.  Breathe five breaths and thank God with every exhale. Echo, “Help me, Jesus” ten times.
Do something. Do anything.
Exercise your spiritual fitness so you are well-equipped to handle whatever comes your way.
With love for a faith-filled and fit week,
 Frannie
ABC Scripture Memorization: Letter [X] “Exercise daily in God—no spiritual flabbiness, please! Workouts in the gymnasium are useful, but a disciplined life in God is far more so, making you fit both today and forever. You can count on this.” 1 Tim 4:8 MSGP.S. For those who are new to Shine with Frannie’s blogs, WELCOME, sunshine, we are so glad you are here!
So you are “in the know”, the Monday emails have been centered around memorizing scripture (to support our personal health journeys!) for each letter of the alphabet. We are in the home stretch as we commit X to memory. If you check the Shine with Frannie Facebook page, you can see all of the scripture from the beginning of 2017!
