St. Patrick’s Day is just days away and the “luck of the Irish” will be wished upon us.

But here’s the thing: I don’t believe in luck.
If I believed in luck, I couldn’t believe in God.

As witnessed repeatedly in my life, God has my back.

He’s The One who’s in control of the whole universe and isn’t at all surprised by anything that’s ever happened in my life or all of history for that matter.
Big or small, He’s in control of it all.

If I believed in luck, I would assume that there’s no one in control.
I don’t believe that for one minute, because according to Jesus, God is in control of even the smallest details of my life – and indeed, of your life, too, sunshine. He even knows how many hairs we have on our heads.
He doesn’t miss a thing. (Matt 10:29-31)

So no.
I don’t believe in luck, and I guess if you look at this way, I am the unluckiest person. But how good to be so blessed!

What about you, sunshine?
Do you believe in luck?

I want you to know–God knows you, He loves you, and He’s involved in every aspect of your life.

No worry is too big or too small to bring to Him.
No situation is too big or too small to invite Him into.
Nothing is too big or too small to ask for His blessing.
Nothing.

I pray that you are unlucky, too.

“Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. And even the hairs of your head are all counted.
So do not be afraid; you are of more value than many sparrows.”
Matt.10: 29-31
