Ed Deci summarizes my belief and philosophy on coaching:
“We should not ask how to motivate others.
Instead ask, ‘How can we create the conditions
within which others will motivate themselves to be healthy?'”
In order to create the healthiest conditions, we turn to The One True Authority and guide in “self-help”: The Bible.
Using scripture, prayer, and other tools, I help you learn new strategies and practice skills to become stronger, healthier and more confident from the inside out.
My role as a coach is to support and guide you, not yell from the sidelines.
Instead think of me as a stage coach, helping you get from one place to another–from where you are to where you want to be–with you holding the reigns.
We are a team.
We work together.
I offer 1:1 and group coaching programs to empower you on your journey.
“Two are better than one, because they have a
good return for their labor: If either of them falls down,
one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and
has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together,
they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone?
Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves.”
